About Me
what about me? a geeky, music-loving and emotional woman who still feels like a girl. desirable if you like her type, un-interesting if you don't. teaches math and english as a second language to 6-9 graders. enjoys stimulating conversations. sleeps late. caffein addicted.
1. i'm overly social. 2. i'm easy to get along with. 3. i'm fascinated by people with distinct personalities. 4. i'm 5'5and3/4". or, more easily for me, 167 cm tall. 5. i'm addicted to coffee. and flavoured latte. 6. and dark chocolate. 7. my favorite tea is earl grey. 8. i used to play more with guys than girls when i grew up. 9. i'm obsessed with atlases, encyclopedias and dictionaries. 10. i wish i had a globe that was geographically accurate. 11. i have a hunger for knowledge. 12. if it were up to me i would stay in school for the rest of my life. 13. my parents are still together. 14. i have two younger sisters and we were all born on tuesdays. 15. my only brother, also younger, has got downs syndrome. i wouldn't want him any other way. 16. my favorite colors are black and red. 17. i have a tendency to only see objects that are black or red when i'm in shops. consequently, nearly all my clothes and a lot of my stuff are black or red. including plates, cables, towels, pens etc. 18. i like plants (the green ones that grow). they make me feel at ease. 19. i hate wearing heels, so i never do. 20. my eyes are blue/grey/green. 21. i'm quite nearsighted and have had glasses since i was 12. 22. i bruise remarkably easy. often i don't even notice when and how i get them. 23. when i was little i was so bruised, the nurse thought i was physically abused at home. which i wasn't. i'm just very clumsy. 24. i daydream. 25. i played the piano for 3 years but quit when puberty hit me. big mistake. 26. i've tried to teach myself how to play guitar. but then the guitar broke and i haven't fixed it yet. 27. my bike has been broken for 8 months and i haven't fixed that yet either. 28. i'm a slow starter when it comes to fixing things. 29. i think i'm pretty. 30. i like having my picture taken. 31. i don't have a driver's license, actually i've never driven a car. 32. i've never been on an airplane, not even on the ground. 33. i like trains. 34. i like traveling through landscapes at night. 35. i've never broken any of my bones. 36. i had different kinds of braces for nearly ten years. for several years i went to the dentist once a month. 37. i had a lot of first times when i was 14; first drunkenness, first kiss, first boyfriend, first fuck. and i started smoking. all in one year. go me. 38. i've been sedated once. 39. it was because i had an abortion. this is the only time i've been hospitalized. 40. my favorite book is 1984. 41. i love to read but i read slow. 42. 42 is as close as i get to having a favorite number. 43. i have two piercings; in my nose and in my navel. 44. i used to have 4 piercings in my ears but i removed them while working and forgot about them so they grew back. 45. i seldom get angry. i mostly get frustrated but it passes quickly. 46. i have a somewhat excessive personality. 47. i like minimalism but friends have told me that minimalism doesn't fit me. 48. i'm easily distracted. 49. vanilla is my favorite smell. 50. i love food. 51. i'm a lacto-ovo-vegetarian. 52. a few times a year i cheat and eat fish and/or prawns or crab. 53. ever since i tried calamari for the first time, i've loved it, but i haven't eaten it in years. 54. i used to do synchronized swimming. 55. this surprises people cos i "do not come off as very feminine". 56. i wear make-up perhaps 4 times a year. 57. i've only had heterosexual sexual experiences. 58. i'd rather die than kill. 59. i'm a cat person. 60. i have two cats. lizzie is grey and named after jane austen's character from pride and prejudice. maggie is black and named after baby simpson. 61. i've dyed my hair continually since i was 16. 62. i'm loyal. 63. i dislike porn. 64. i'm a geek. 65. my biggest interest is music. to listen to. mostly indie, to be specific. 66. my dad still has more records than i do, but i'm getting there. 67. i spend more money on music (records, concerts, merch) than i do on anything; food and coffee excluded. 68. i have three working computers, but i only use two of them. 69. i love high school movies and generation x movies. 70. the breakfast club has been my favorite movie since i was 14. 71. i was born on the 14th, maybe that has something to do with the 14-thing. 72. november is my favorite month. 73. i love everything kevin smith does. 74. i'm a huge sucker for referential humor and dialogue. 75. i've always wanted to date a musician but never have cos i think it would make me feel insignificant. 76. i don't have a bad morning temper. ever. but i'm always very tired when i wake up, no matter what time it is or for how long i've slept. 77. i love sci-fi and particularly star trek. 78. i like technology and easily understand how things work. 79. i've worked at burger king. 80. i looked like a dork in their uniform, mostly due to the cap. 81. i quit smoking after 10 years. just like that. 82. i only feel tempted to smoke when i'm really drunk. 83. i was sober for 5 years, from age 16 to 21, because of a nasty drunken experience i had at 16. 84. alcohol sometimes makes me throw up. 85. i also throw up when i'm emotionally over-loaded, such as after break-ups. 86. i love snow. 87. my favorite tv-series ever is my so-called life. 88. gilmore girls comes second, without much competition. 89. i've never consciously done drugs. 90. however, when i was in rostock, germany, in 96, i think someone put something in my glass, cos i had a weird night and one hell of a hang over the next day, and i wasn't drinking. 91. i hate the town i grew up in. 92. my favorite kinds of furniture are couches. 93. i love to sleep. 94. i can sleep anywhere and through anything once i've fallen asleep. 95. i'm addicted to the internet. 96. i don't believe in any god, or an afterlife. 97. i'm not afraid of dying, but afraid of other people dying. 98. i'm convinced i will die of cancer. 99. i laugh a lot. 100. i love hugging and cuddling.
